About Me

My name is Chulwoo Choi.
I am a Java SE/EE developer by profession. I work at CTG (Core Technology Group), Pearson Education in Boston, MA.
I hold Master's and PhD degrees in theoretical physics from SUNY at Buffalo. My adviser was Dr. Richard J. Gonsalves.
Professional certifications: SCJP, SCWCD, SCBCD, and SCJD
I'm a flutist too :-) I have played the flute for 25 years.

PersonBook: Recently, I wrote a simple address book application, PersonBook, using latest Java EE technologies like EJB 3.0 and JSF (JavaServer Faces). Click here for more about PersonBook.
NetBean 5.5 w/ Visual Web Pack was used developing the application. This application has been deployed to JBoss 4.0.5 that talks to MySQL 5.0.
CP violation in top quark decay: I calculated the CP violating asymmetry in the decay of top quark in the Weinberg Model, an extension of the Standard Model, which was my Master's project in theoretical physics. The project report is available here (pdf).
